The Nigeria Union of Journalists’ (NUJ) Correspondents’ Chapel at Ondo Council is gearing up to host its inaugural Ramadan lecture on Wednesday, March 19.
The event, themed “Islam, Leadership and Good Governance: Panacea for Nigeria’s Economic Challenges,” is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM at the NUJ Press Centre in Adegbemile, Akure.
According to a statement from Mr. Tosin Ajuwon, the chapel’s Chairman, the lecture will feature Alhaji Abdul Rafiu Ajiboye Lagbaji, the Chief Imam of Allahu Wahid Central Mosque in Ondo, who is widely respected as an Islamic scholar.
Mr. Ajuwon encouraged media practitioners and the general public to attend, noting that the presence of respected press members would not only enrich the discussion but also strengthen the bonds of unity among media professionals in the state.
