The Special Adviser on Education to the Governor of Ondo State, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, has expressed deep appreciation to friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for the overwhelming show of love during his recent birthday celebration.
In a statement personally signed by him, Olabimtan thanked God for the gift of life and for surrounding him with what he described as “amazing leaders, associates, friends and children.”
“The outpouring of greetings, prayers, gifts, and physical presence to celebrate my birthday was truly overwhelming. Eniyan bo ni lara j’aso lo,” he said, using the Yoruba adage to describe the warmth he felt from the people around him.
“As you celebrated with me, may the Almighty grant you reasons to be celebrated always,” he added.
He specially acknowledged the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his unwavering love and support, which was once again demonstrated during the birthday celebration. Olabimtan also extended his gratitude to the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Olayide Adelami, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, cabinet members, permanent secretaries, heads of parastatals, local government chairmen, government officials, and civil servants in the state.
He further appreciated traditional rulers, political leaders, clergymen, associates, friends, and well-wishers from within and outside the state for taking the time to celebrate with him.
“I am awesomely humbled by the influx of your greetings, prayers, and gifts. May God in His infinite mercy reward and bless you all,” he stated.
Olabimtan concluded by using the occasion to rededicate himself to the service of God and humanity, praying that God continues to use everyone for His glory.
