The Nigeria Alumni Network of the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, recently honored the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, in Lagos.
At the annual gathering of the University of Liverpool Nigeria Alumni Network (Lagos/Southwest Zone) held on Saturday, the Governor was recognized with an award for his contributions to political and business leadership, public service excellence, and social entrepreneurship.
As an alumnus of the university, Aiyedatiwa was commended for his exemplary representation of the institution. Expressing his gratitude, he described the award as a motivation to continue making meaningful impacts.
He appreciated the alumni leadership for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to societal development and human empowerment.
The Coordinator of the alumni group, Dr. Joy Dorcan, highlighted the event as a platform for fostering connections among members.
Representing the University of Liverpool, Anita Irving praised the alumni for upholding the institution’s reputation in their respective fields.
In his keynote address, Dr. Biodun Adedipe emphasized the importance of alumni relationships, describing them as a powerful network that thrives on the value it offers its members.
