In a demonstration of his dedication to grassroots governance, the Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon. Barr. Clement Kolapo Ojo, has visited communities impacted by a recent rainstorm to assess the damage and provide necessary assistance.
During his visit to Oriohin, Omialafa, and Elegbeka, Hon. Ojo sympathized with affected residents and assured them of the local government’s intervention to alleviate their hardships.
As part of his tour, he also inspected two Nigerian Army checkpoints along the Ifon-Omolege road, commending military personnel for their efforts in maintaining security.
He pledged continued support from the local government to enhance their operations.
In Elegbeka, Hon. Ojo announced plans to grade the Elegbeka-Arajoomoeye-Ute road, a move aimed at improving transportation and facilitating the smooth movement of farm produce to markets.
His visit also included an inspection of the Elegbeka Basic Health Center, where he reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare services for residents.
Community members expressed their appreciation for the chairman’s proactive approach, noting that no previous chairman had ever visited them in their respective communities.
They praised his inclusive leadership and hands-on governance.
Since assuming office on February 18, 2025, Hon. Barr. Clement Kolapo Ojo has consistently prioritized direct engagement with the people, ensuring that governance remains responsive to their needs.
His leadership continues to emphasize infrastructure development, security, and overall community welfare within Ose Local Government Area.
