The National President of Igbo Youths Awake For Sustainale Development (IYASDI), Hon. Jude Chukwuka Onyeabor, has alleged that the self acclaimed Ohanaeze leader, Chief Sunday Ossai, has perfected plans to install Prince Ubochi O. Ubochi as Ohanaeze President in Lagos State in 2026.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Hon. Onyeabor stated this in Lagos on the heels of Chief Ossai’s claim that he was duly elected as Ohanaeze leader whereas the authentic Ohanaeze President, Lagos State, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, is yet to complete his tenure as declared by the Lagos State High Court.
Hon. Onyeabor revealed that Prince Ubochi has been backing Chief Ossai based on the purported agreement they reached to install him as Ohanaeze President with the support of Chief Everest Ozonweke, who is now claiming non-existing position as Ohanaeze Southwest Coordinator.
He explained that Ubochi may have realized that he may not achieve his ambition to become Ohanaeze President if he continues to support Chief Aguene, so he decided to support Chief Sunday Ossai in order to achieve his dreams.
“Prince Ubochi is well educated and knowledgeable enough to know that there is a subsisting Court judgment, and knows the consequences involved if disobeyed. He is aware that the judgment is valid, yet he is following Chief Ossai, which means there is something behind it linked to his presidential ambition based on the promise allegedly made by Ossai and Ozonweke.”
However, when contacted, Prince Ubochi denied nursing such ambition and stated that he was in support of Chief Ossai based on his conviction and there was no such promises made to him as he did not ask or intended to do so in future.
Meanwhile the battle between the authentic Ohanaeze President, Chief Solomon Aguene and Chief Sunday Ossai is now before the Police FCID Alagbon Annex over aborted meeting, which was organized by Chief Ossai in a hotel following a petition to the AIG.
While the investigation is ongoing, what was not incontrovertible is the Consent Court judgment in favour of Aguene, which Chief Ossai and his group have not vacated and yet they are claiming that they were duly elected.
Meanwhile, the fate of P.M.EXPRESS Crime Editor, Cyriacus Izuekwe, is hanging in the balance following a report of an interview granted by Chief Aguene making revelations that Chief Sunday Ossai had contacted him begging the authentic President to withdraw the matter from the Police for the sake of peace and other publications made concerning the crises.
Chief Ossai was said to be angry over the publications and he is now threatening to deal ruthlessly with Cyriacus Izuekwe and will also use the Police to arrest him after raining abuses on his person through poorly written WhatsApp messages.
It is not certain when Chief Sunday Ossai intends to carry out his threats on Cyriacus Izuekwe. But one thing that is certain is that Chief Sunday Ossai has threatened to deal with Izuekwe and if anything happens to him, Nigerians know who was behind it.
