The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) Meet & Greet Reunion, held on February 14 at the TSG Campaign Office in Maitama, Abuja, was a grand display of solidarity, commitment, and renewed political aspirations. The event, graced by loyalists and key stakeholders, became a powerful rallying point for members of the movement as they reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Honorable James Abiodun Faleke, the founder and sponsor of TSG, delivered a rousing speech that reignited hope among members, assuring them that their dedication and sacrifices would not go unnoticed. He emphasized that President Tinubu values loyalty and will reward steadfast supporters without compromising the integrity of governance.
“Asiwaju is a man of his word. He has never abandoned those who stood by him, and he will not start now. But we must be patient and remain committed to the struggle of building a better Nigeria. The policies of President Tinubu’s administration are already yielding results, and Nigerians will soon feel the positive impact,” Faleke reassured the audience.
Addressing concerns raised by opposition voices, Faleke dismissed their criticisms as baseless distractions, urging members to ignore their “ranting and political gimmicks.” He confidently declared that President Tinubu’s leadership would be reaffirmed in the next election, as his policies continue to drive national development and economic stability.
However, he was quick to clarify that the event was not a political campaign but rather a moment of reunion and reflection. “This is not the time for electioneering; today is simply about reconnecting, strengthening our bond, and preparing for the future. When the time for campaigns comes, we will be ready, and we will do it the right way,” he stated.
A major highlight of the reunion was the unveiling of the new Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, who has taken over from Arch. Umar Ibrahim Mohammed. The latter now serves as the Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), a role he assumed following his exemplary service in TSG.
The event was a reminder of the strength, unity, and resilience of the Tinubu political family. With the unwavering support of members and the strategic leadership of key figures like Hon. Faleke, the TSG remains a formidable force in Nigerian politics. The evening concluded on a note of optimism, with members leaving the venue reenergized and ready to continue championing the Tinubu-led vision for a greater Nigeria.
