One 54-year-old Alhaji Bolawa Oladokun on Tuesday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, for allegedly threatening the life of one Apostle Adewale Oladele.
Oladokun, whose address was not provided, is charged with conspiracy, threat to life and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
He, however, pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Insp Adeshina Folaranmi, told the court that the defendant committed the offences sometime in October 2024 at Omoteji Family Compound, Idi-Arere, Ibadan.
Folaranmi said that the defendant threatened Oladele’s life and the lives of other members of his family.
He added that the defendant conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by engaging in the act.
The prosecutor said that Oladokun committed offences contrary to Sections 517, 86 and 249(d) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwabusayo Osho, granted the defendant bail in the sum of one million Naira with two sureties in like sum.
Osho adjourned the case until Feb. 24 for substantive hearing. (NAN)
