The Ondo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (Ondo-NIPR) has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), who passed away on January 4, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Funmilayo Ikueduranni, and Secretary, Sunday Olusegun Omosule, the organization described Mr. Oluwatuyi as a distinguished public servant whose leadership, selflessness, and dedication to the development of Ondo State will be fondly remembered.
“Mr. Oluwatuyi’s remarkable tenure left an indelible mark on the history of Ondo State. His unwavering commitment to excellence, transparency, and accountability in public service served as a beacon of inspiration to many,” the statement noted.
The Ondo-NIPR extended condolences to the Government of Ondo State, the deceased’s family, and the Akure community, his place of origin.
The organization prayed for divine strength for all affected by the loss and called on the public to unite in mourning the passing of an exceptional leader.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire and unite the people of Ondo State,” the statement concluded.
