The Ebenezer African Church in Itaogbolu, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, has installed Chiefs as well conferred honorary titles on distinguished personalities who have unquantifiably committed to the growth of the church.
Speaking during his sermon at ceremony, the Rt. Rev. D. O Akinremi, Bishop of Ondo Central, urged the Chiefs and the honorees to advance their support for the development of the church.
Citing 1 Peter Chapter 5, the Bishop called for cohesion and deep ecclesiastical understanding among church members, while he called on the Elders of the church to imbibe the spirit of oness.
However, Bishop Akinremi reminded the Chiefs and the honorees on the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Rev. F. A Orisamika, advised the leadership of the church to sustain the prevailing unity and ensure indivisibility.
