A non governmental organization, Christian In Politics (CHIP), has thrown its weight behind re-election of Hon. Abiola Makinde, a member representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency.
Speaking with newsmen, the General Coordinator of the group, Akinsunmoye Clement, said the endorsement became necessary sequel to inimitable feats of the Lawmaker, adding that he (Makinde) creditably performed in his first term.
Similarly, the CAN Chairman for Ondo West, Rev. Awoniyi, stated that
Makinde had the interests of Christians at heart and has contributed immensely to the positive growth of churches across the constituency.
In his response, the lawmaker applauded CHIP for the endorsement, while he urged other christian bodies at event to toe the line of righteousness in all their dealings.
